TRAINING CURRICULUM
All of our training addresses these core competencies:

Emergency Scene Assessment Recognizing hazards, maintaining personal safety, assessing the situation, and determining when emergency medical services are needed.

Adult CPR Recognition of cardiac arrest, high-quality chest compressions, rescue breaths, and coordinated CPR.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use Safe and effective operation of an AED and integration of defibrillation into CPR.

Child and Infant CPR Age-appropriate CPR techniques and emergency response considerations for pediatric patients.

Choking Emergencies Recognition and treatment of airway obstruction in responsive and unresponsive adults, children, and infants.

Basic First Aid Assessment and initial care for common injuries and sudden illnesses.

Bleeding and Wound Care Controlling external bleeding, protecting wounds, and recognizing situations requiring advanced medical care.

Shock Recognizing signs of shock and providing appropriate supportive care while awaiting emergency medical services.

Burns Identifying common types of burns and providing appropriate initial care.

Musculoskeletal Injuries Basic response to suspected fractures, sprains, strains, and other injuries.

Medical Emergencies Recognition and initial response to conditions such as seizures, fainting, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, and suspected stroke.

Environmental Emergencies Basic response to heat- and cold-related emergencies and other environmental exposures.

Emergency Action and Communication / Calling 911 or the appropriate emergency service, communicating essential information, and assisting until professional responders arrive.

Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) Awareness Included at no extra charge.

OSHA recordable injury awareness included at no extra charge
